Most of the markets closed in positive terriotry this week ranging between 1 to 2%. OPNewsletter’s Jul’07 overall portfolio on contrast gained by 11.7% during the week and overall it is up by 22.7%. This is 3rd month in running of over 20% monthly gains vs my target of 5-7%. I also closed RUT Iron Condor, 10th in a row for double digit gains. This is also nearly 15th week of consistent positive weekly gains. If you were an OPN subscribers, pls check your e-mail for the details or at forum for each underlying thread for Jul’07 (Pls note you should be an OPN subscriber to view these exclusive boards, rest of the forum is free).
As shared in my e-mail to OPN subscribers, you may wanna book profit on the profitable trades if you modeled after my trades. I am planning to continue to hold all the mini-portfolio and therefore will continue to update. Pls note that I have kindly canceled current subscriptions and not accpeting new subscriptions to OPNewsletter for now and once I have little more time, I shall restart it (roughly Sept).
- Google trade that I shared for free here is making +55%.
- RIMM that I mentioned here , opened as bonus trade only for OPN subscribers is making over +18%.
- Separately I had also shared a BA double diagonal for free to OP readers. This trade is already making 23% gains. Though ideally I would have adjusted now for more profits, but I no longer plan to follow this trade. So those who modeled it, I suggest closing and booking profit.
- When most on wall street (including Credit Suisse) turned bearish on Oil, I talked about my bullishness on Oil. Since then Oil is up little over +5%
- This doesn’t consider profits from IRF, BEAS and other speculative trades.
In my real money portfolio, as shared with OPN subscribers, I have only 5-7 tickers. We are entering into last two weeks of Jul expiration and theta is going to accelerate even at faster pace, in my favor, accelerating gains for all the portfolios.
Profitable trading, OptionPundit
