As Reuben mentioned, this wasn't about missing or not missing the rally. The important point is whether or not am I making money as per my objectives. and whether the decisions i made earlier (in the hindsight) worked out to be right or not, and will I change those, if given a chance? Personally, I am in no hurry, cash has it's own place in portfolio. If the economy improves and market continue to trend up, it's even better as it much easier to make money in Bullish market vs Bearish (again in the hindsight). And a better economy for rest of the world. Rising tide lifts all the boats.

Once again, admitting you were \wrong\ is easy in hindsight. A good outcome had despite any view is a better measure than an opinion. Also we need to ask, how many will migrate to buy at the wrong time, just before a big decline??? if we go down soon, i think too many will be on the long side of the market and will be toast.

Admit you were wrong about the market.

You missed the rally and now are kicking yourself for it. You are not alone, many big fund managers are doing the same and MIGRATING to buy and that's why we are seeing so much strength in the markets.
