I decided to take advantage of the VIX spike today to offload my VIX 17 futures and free-up cash to invest in other opportunities due to options expiration.
I have been buying May 17 VIX calls. With a very small spike today, my VIX returned a nice 33% profit for 1-2 day holding period.
